Finding a Sense of Calm
I work with adults who are living with anxiety, stress, or emotional overwhelm — people who’ve been coping for a long time but are starting to feel the weight of it. Anxiety can look different for everyone. For some, it’s a racing mind that never switches off. For others, it’s tension in the body, difficulty relaxing, or that constant sense of needing to hold it all together.

Many of the clients I support through anxiety counselling in Wangaratta and online across Australia are in their middle to later adulthood. They’re often juggling work, family, relationships, and life’s many responsibilities — but somewhere along the way, they’ve lost their sense of calm and confidence. They’re not sure what needs to change, only that they can’t keep going the way things are. What they long for is a way to feel more at ease, more grounded, and more like themselves again.
The Pain Beneath the Surface

Anxiety isn’t just about worrying too much — it’s often about carrying too much for too long. You might be trying to keep everyone and everything together, w
Many of my clients have spent years pushing through. They’ve managed, coped, and kept showing up — but that kind of strength takes its toll. Now, they’re ready for a different way. Through anxiety counselling, we can begin to understand what’s really happening beneath the surface, ease the constant mental noise, and find gentle, practical ways to bring more calm and balance into everyday life.
The Clients Who Thrive in Counselling
The clients who benefit most from this work are open to exploring what’s happening within them, even if it feels uncertain or uncomfortable at first. You don’t need to have all the answers — you just need to be willing to show up and take small, manageable steps forward. In our sessions, you’ll have a calm, non-judgemental space to talk freely about what’s been weighing on you. I’ll meet you with warmth, care, and respect for your pace and goals. Together, we’ll explore what’s driving your anxiety, strengthen your coping skills, and help you reconnect with your confidence and resilience.
Whether we meet in person in Wangaratta or online from anywhere in Australia, you’ll always be supported to go at a pace that feels right for you.
Moving Towards Hope
If you recognise yourself in these words, please know you don’t have to keep carrying this alone. There is a path forward — one where you can feel calmer, clearer, and more at peace within yourself.
The Counselling space is an opportunity to work together to untangle what feels overwhelming and create space for hope and possibility again. It can take courage to take that first step, but you don’t have to do it on your own. I’ll walk alongside you — supporting you to find the strength, strategies, and sense of calm you’ve been longing for.
